Playa Hermosa has been my favorite beach since 1999 when I arrived here from beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I moored my catamaran sailboat “Spanish Dancer” here in front of El Velero Hotel for 7 years while living on the beach front next door to Aquasport Restaurant. Honestly, the area has grown with Playa Hermosa villas and condos but the beach is much the same with a very limited amount of commercial development. Hope it stays this way.
